…what a surprise for their family and friends… they all thought they were going to an engagement party at their house. a few people were in on the secret, but the majority thought something was only up when the sign on the gate said ‘surprise”. bridal preparations + ceremony. own house. reception in bulimba. liquorish.
i`ve photographed some rainy weddings and some rainy rainy weddings. this was rainy rainy rainy… and we got wet… never was there any feeling but positivity. it was just a part of the day. it helped to create intimacy and everyone was in on it. running out with umbrellas as people arrived at the ceremony….
