Allissa and Grant . Deux Belettes

a boy and a girl… and a golden retriever

the magnolia flowers are at their seductive best, the garlic flowers still have some of their hats on, the jacaranda`s are nearing their purply end, jasmine is in the air, peonies are on, it`s all lush and green as growth reaches out and thanks the sun and the rain. summer in northern nsw… it`s beautifully full on.

and i received this e-mail from allisa & grant when they had first seen some of their photographs posted;

Planning a wedding has been wonderful, amazing, fun and terrifying all at the same time.

Over the last 12 months those closest to me have asked ‘how did you know to use so-and-so?’, ‘how did you chose X?’, ‘why them?’ when referring to suppliers I had mentioned. Of course as a lawyer by trade, naturally my instinct was to research, research, research.

But… nothing can top ‘the knowing’. Its a feeling I got only sometimes along the way. It’s when you just ‘know’ something is right, a perfect fit, to stop looking elsewhere, you are in safe hands. It’s calming – it’s ‘the knowing’. Of course, I had ‘the knowing’ with you Justin and your wonderful team at Bushturkey Studio – the photos are testament to that absolutely. Wow – they took my breath away and will continue to do so for years to come.

From both of us – thankyou. Thankyou for sharing your art and your talent with us and for documenting our day in your beautiful way.”

there`s a warm and fuzzy feeling. and i`m smiling. thank you xx
